Far and away, the most common annoyance with the Rhodes piano is a heavy and sluggish keyboard response. We employ the factory-prescribed "pedestal bump" modification, as introduced on all pianos produced as of 1979.
The benefits of the modification include approximately 50% weight reduction across the board, improved soft play and increased key-stroke efficiency.
